Training & Seminars

GGS is committed to raising the standard of environmental protection measures through the provision of professional development opportunities.

We understand how important it is to keep informed of the latest challenges and field techniques in land contamination. That’s why our training courses and seminars have been designed to help consultants, graduates, local authorities and industry professionals improve their knowledge of current environmental monitoring practices.

Whether you’re joining one of our training courses or booking a tailored seminar for your organisation, we’re happy to give you the benefit of our experience and technical ability.

Webinars

This series of webinars provides detailed insights in ground-gas issues. Each one-hour event is designed to be stand-alone but can be combined with the others into a broader body of knowledge. Starting with first principles, the webinars are designed to be accessible for a range of experience, from graduates new to the topic through to experienced professionals. The series will also draw from the expert content featured in the CL:AIRE technical bulletin published by GGS.

Also, we can run a short and focused lunchtime training for individual organisations. This is ideally suited for discrete groups of busy professionals who need a quick understanding of what continuous monitoring looks like and how and when it can be used to better characterise ground-gas contamination. We will provide a CPD certificate for everyone who attends the event. If you would like to arrange for a presentation please send an email to [email protected].

Bespoke training sessions

We will be pleased to put together a bespoke training programme on either one topic or group of topics tailored to a depth that suits your needs.

These sessions run as either half or full-day events and can be delivered either in person or as webinars. Charges will reflect the staff-time involved, size of venue and catering.
